Summer is underway and that means so is VBS! This year Sand Hollow will be hosting Stellar VBS - Shine Jesus' Light from June 26-30 in the evenings at 5:45 to 8:00. We are so excited to share with kids of all ages the Stellar news of Jesus. During the week at VBS we will learn that:

When Life feels Dark ...Shine Jesus' Light
When people don't get along...Shine Jesus' Light
When good things happen...Shine Jesus' Light
When people are sad... Shine Jesus' Light
When people need help...Shine Jesus' Light

VBS wouldn't be complete without a mission; this year for every $12 raised, we send a language appopriate Bible to African nations, Latin America, and the Middle East. The funds also allow local discipleship ministries to provide Bible classes, Sunday School, Kids Clubs, and more.

To make our mission a little competitive, Pastor and Miss Jo have graciously voluntereed as team captains for the boys and girls; the losing captain will get a galactic pie to the face. Everyone is excited for this mission and have gotten a jump start on collecting money and have already raised enough money to send 15 Bibles overseas.

Father's Day is Sunday, June 18th, we hope that you take time to thank the father figures in your life as well as taking time to praise our Abba Father for His goodness and grace.

June schedule:

Sunday: 10am Sunday School

11am Worship and Service

Potluck after service on June 11th

Wednesday: 7pm Worship Practice

VBS: June 26th - 30th from 5:45pm - 8pm

June is also Musician Apprieciation month, so we want to take a moment to thank our Worship Team for their gifts of music, their dedication, and their willingness to follow God's calling. You guys rock!
