Happy New Year - January 2023 Newsletter

Can you believe that 2022 is all done and we are into 2023?!?! Last year may have come and gone fast, but not without some great God sightings, connections, and relationship building.

2022 Recap:

• In February the ladies joined and participated in another retreat with the New Plymouth gals. They learned how Jesus came to bring us out of our shame and restore us with His righteousness.

• In April, the children of Kids' Club wrapped up their 2021-22 year of learning about "Creation, Dinosaurs, and God's plan". They also treated us to a sweet little Easter skit.

• We had a MONUMENTAL time in June during VBS week.

• 20 of we joined Pastor and JoEllen in Atlanta, ID. Not only did we get to help with Atlanta Days ( a fundraiser for their EMT service), we were able to grow closer together as a church body.

• Kids' Club started back up for the 2022-23 season in October. This season we are exploring the Armor of God and how to put it on each day.

• In November, the Ladies of Sand Hollow sent out care packages to our troops over seas.

• Throughout the year, we were able to bless many organizations outside our church with our 5th Sunday Love Offerings and your overall generosity.

Need a peak of what's to come in 2023? Here are a few things planned and in the works:

• February 4th at 10am: Ladies Devotional and Service Project

• April 9th: Easter Sunday

• April: End 2022-23 Kids Club Year

• June (TBA): VBS - Stellar

• August (TBA): Atlanta Trip

• October 5th at 6pm: Start 2023-24 Kids Club Year

During January we hope to see you as Pastor continues to preach through Romans.

Sunday's: 10am Sunday School / 11am Worship and Service

Potluck - Second Sunday

Wednesday's: 7pm Music Practice

Thursday's: 6pm Kids Club

January is our first 5th Sunday Love Offering of the year. This month our monies will go to support the Boise Rescue Mission. They have been so thankful for the donations we have made in the past. Please be praying how God would like you to move this month.

Future 5th Sunday Love Offerings will go to:

April: Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

July: Children's Ministry

October: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

December: TBA (please help us pick an organization for this month)
