What is the mission of the church?

• First what is the church?

  • It is the creation of God. 1 Corinthians 3:9

  • Founded and owned by Jesus Matthew 16:18

  • Directed and energized by the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 10:17, Romans 12:4-5

• The mission of the Church is to: 

• Make disciples Matthew 28:19-20 

• Glorify Christ Ephesians 1:11-12, Colossians 1:13

• Build up the saints John 13:35, 2 Corinthians 13:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:11
