Continuing in Romans
-
The righteous will live by faith
-
Are you ashamed of the Gospel?
-
When we do not live by the good word we share, we are a hindrance to that message.
-
The righteousness of God is revealed in the varying degrees of Faith in His people.
-
Righteousness is not something we work for, or earn. It is freely given by God to those that have accepted Jesus into their hearts! It is not our righteousness, but God's that He has shared with us.
-
The righteous will live by faith. This is in reference to a verse in the old testament. Habakkuk 2:4. That verse was also quoted in Galatians 3:11 and Hebrews 10:38
-
Life is a series of spiritual battles, and you win those battle through prayer and faith. God loves you and wants you to win these battles and He will help you do so if you ask!

Bible Passages:

Romans 1:16-17
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,[a] just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”[b]

Habakkuk 2:4
“See, the enemy is puffed up;
his desires are not upright—
but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness[a]—

Galatians 3:11
Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[a]

Hebrews 10:38
And,
“But my righteous[a] one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”[b]
