A New Year
-
Reflect on last year. Focus on new resolutions for this next year.
-
A resolution is a pledge to ourselves, God, or others, to be different this next year.
-
But we don't have to do it alone. Invite the Holy Spirit in to help out. Acts 2:1-4
-
The Holy Spirit is meant to teach and remind us of our convictions. John 14:26
-
Focus on God's will, and the Holy Spirit will make all things possible John 15:5
-
Some suggested resolutions:
-
1. Build your rich relationship with God. Make him the focus this next year.
-
2. Become active in your local church. Make some healthy commitments to further His kingdom.
-
3.put any undesirable habits or tendencies, in God's hands.
-
-
Reflect on last year, learn from it. And actively make decisions to make this next year better with God.

Acts 2:1-4
When the day of Pentecost had arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like that of a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were staying. 3 They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and rested on each one of them. 4 Then they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues,[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

John 14:26
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.
John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.
